I've already watched the 'Getting Started' videos and am currently looking for a good first issue to work on.

I’ve been exploring Palisadoes projects and really like the focus on real world full stack systems and clean backend architecture.

I’m mdhamed238, a software dev based in Lyon, France.
I’m currently a Computer Science MSc student, specializing in information and web technologies.

I’ve been contributing to Talawa-API recently, focusing on improving test coverage (event/venue and comment vote flows, among others), which helped me get familiar with the codebase and existing patterns. I’ve also started working on a feature-level issue in Talawa Mobile to broaden my understanding of the project and contribute beyond testing (see issue #3203).

I’m now looking to expand further into feature-level work and other parts of the project, and I’m preparing for GSoC 2026. If there are any areas where help is currently most needed, or issues that would be good to pick up next, I’d appreciate any pointers.
