Hi everyone, I’m Sujal Tripathi (@SujalTripathi on GitHub).
I’m new to the Palisadoes / Talawa community and interested in contributing long term, with a goal of applying to GSoC with this org in the future.
I’ve read the Palisadoes Contributing Guidelines and understand the expectations about GitHub history, consistent contributions, and responsible use of AI tools.
I have prior open‑source experience (
SuperContributor on Hacktoberfest and several PRs merged in other organizations such as Keploy / Meshery, etc.) and I’m happy to share links or details if that helps mentors evaluate whether I meet the contribution criteria.
My main skills are in JavaScript, Node.js, React, and backend work, and I’m comfortable reading documentation and working systematically. I’ve already started setting up the Talawa projects locally and exploring Talawa Docs.
Could you please guide me on:
- Which repository (Talawa Docs, Talawa-API, or Talawa-Admin) is the best starting point for someone with my background?
- Any specific “good first issues” or testing/docs tasks that would be good to pick up first?
