Confused with Contributing

It is my first time contributing to palisadose. I recently got assigned for an issue (https://github.com/PalisadoesFoundation/talawa-admin/issues/7386) and i made the necessary changes to one file but on committing the changes it created docs and fixes formating issues of other files and even adding it all to staging and running git commit it doesn't commit due to which I'm unable to push the changes.

i want help with :
1. do i want to add those docs and other file changes too ?
2. how do i get my changes committed, what am i missing ?
