Hello everyone! đź‘‹ My name is Yash Chauhan, and I'm a 2nd-year CSE student at NIT Uttarakhand. I'm very keen to contribute to the Palisadoes Foundation through GSoC 2026.
I've successfully set up the talawa-api backend on my local machine. Everything is running smoothly: PostgreSQL, Redis, and MinIO are all connected (The setup was challenging, but I figured it out!).
I'm currently reviewing the "Good First Issues" to get started on my first Pull Request. Any specific guidance or initial recommendations for a first-time contributor would be highly appreciated!

Hi @Yash
A few suggestions as you get started:
1. Begin with “Good First Issues”
2. Prefer issues with: - Clear reproduction steps, Small isolated code changes, Labels like- good-first-issue
3. Follow the Project Standards
